Today we went to a wedding reception for friends from the park,who were married in Alaska this past summer. In amongst their wedding pictures is pictures of Pauline and Ed with the Governor of Alaska. Pauline's children went to school with the gov as they all lived in the same small town. Pauline sold her home in Alaska and will be now be an Arizona resident. Probably not because of the gov!!
The paper today had an article stating Nogales, Mexico, our closest Mexican town, was declared an unsafe place to visit. The drug wars are resulting in shoot outs in the streets, malls and anywhere someone needs to to be shot.
A week before we got back to Tucson, there was an afternoon shoot out Wall Mart about 2 miles from our house and a hop, skip and jump from Tucson Mall. If one isn't safe at Wall Mart?? The good guys, police, walked away. The bad guy, the drug dealer, is dead.
Tucson has not yet been declared an unsafe place to travel to.

uh...I haven't bought my tickets yet but maybe I should save up for armor too.
