Ok, first we are to never say Trailer Park, we should say Manufactured Home Community. But to some of us, it's a trailer park. One could hook up any home to a truck and pull it out. People always amaze me and some that are living here more than others. Wednesday afternoon was a reception for a resident who got married over the summer. The function was put on by the bride and groom. They served cake, crackers/salmon spread and coffee/iced tea. One guest, PH, is going through the serving line with a styrofoam coffee cup and filled it with salmon spread to take home. Then PH sat down with the salmon in her BIG purse and waited for the cake to be cut. The servers, myself one of them, all were wishing real hard for a wee bit of food poisoning with the salmon not refrigerated. Heck, who knows maybe she carries ice in her bag? We did manage to serve all of the cake leaving nothing left over. We also guarded the cake until it was gone.
Can't you just see it--Three old ladies guarding the cake and one person looking for her opportunity to snag some cake to take home.
Miss ,PH, Purple Hands gets her nick name from a party she attended and wore purple plastic gloves, like a medical person would wear. I don't believe I have ever seen purple ones.
