The Christmas lights are up and running and the timers are set so they all come on about the same time. We light up our end of the park and the electric meter spins. I will go out and take some pictures, soon.
We went to Lowe's yesterday to get some Christmas 'stuff' to decorate the club house today. Everything was 50% off!!! The day after Christmas, they will pay us to take it off the shelves. Today is decorate the club house, which is always a kick. A year ago this past summer there was an accident in the storage shed and all the Christmas decorations fell off the shelves and most broke. Last year a couple of us bought all new decorations for the club house and I must say did a good job. "Pat on back." We'll put up Christmas the same as last year. That doesn't mean there won't be disagreements.
A group of 3 couples hosts the New Years Eve party. Our theme for this year is "Snow Flakes for the Old Flakes". It is advertised as The Snow Flake Ball, as we don't want to offend anyone who might possibly think they are not an Old Flake. We'll have snow men center pieces and a snow flakes every where. Still a work in progress.
