The Eagle is bubble wrapped and ready to go. We hope he makes the trip with out crumbling. He is going to look great out by the flag pole. A few other things are also ready to go.
We are planning on leaving Sunday and probably should have left last Sunday as it is hot here. Every time we make this trip I say, we are going to travel lighter but----. We always have important things to take/bring. We also are carrying a box of dishes for a friend to deliver to her daughter. This friend is flying back tomorrow to see her daughter and when we drop off the box on Tuesday we'll see her.
It is sad to say good bye to all our friends/neighbors here. We have a Swan Lake Reunion scheduled at our house the last week in July. We usually do the summer reunion thing in Mpls but this year, things are changing! Next year one of the others will host it at their summer home. Our neighbors might be very glad it will be some where else!
We are looking forward to a great summer in Okoboji with the kids and grandkids.
