This is a close up of the picture below that I put on my desk top.
This shows the ugly little plant these pretty blooms comes from.
This is a saguaro cactus. These are the tall guys with all the arms. This one does not have arms because it is to young. They are at least 75 years old before the arms start growing. This on grows on the River Trail where we walk every day. There are a few in the park that should also be blooming soon. It is hard to take a picture as they are tall and the flowers are on the very top.

Those pink flowers are beautiful! Too bad they come from such an ugly plant.
