The cactus is gone and the spot looks like nothing was ever growing there. When we got back from 'the walk' yesterday the cactus was leaking all over Helen's lion. Apparently Thursday's wind broke the stem. The leaking caused concern as it attracted the bees.
It had a lot of thorns but no emergency thorn removal with the pliers.
It had to be cut in small pieces to lift it up into the truck. It is very heavy.

The base was 'very' heavy and had to be cut up to move it. They hold a lot of water or liquid.
Nothing left but clean up. The cameras battery is dead! No more pictures for a couple hours!
