The agave has started blooming! It might take a few days for it to be in full bloom. That is if it holds up in the wind! It has been so terribly windy everyday and we all complain about it. I read online this morning that our home in Iowa 'may get' up to a foot of snow this week end.
Our friends Fran, Dean and us hosted a surprise birthday party last night for a friend. The big surprise was she was really surprised. She is very instrumental in all the happenings in the park and we were sure she'd find out. Her daughter flew in yesterday from Iowa and on their way to our house Pat told her daughter, don't tell them it is my birthday.
Of course, we need a bit of drama. We 'borrowed' the plastic chairs from the island. These chairs have been donated and are not the best chairs, but John and Dean washed them up and they worked. A couple people noticed the chairs were gone and were thinking of calling the police. I can see it---We are all sitting out in our driveway/patio and having a good time--and here comes the cops.
Our worst nightmare is, we all get evicted and sent back to IA/WI/MN in the middle of winter!!!!!!!
