There are so many stories but I'll just tell 3 today. All will be identified by 1st initial so their kids don't start researching nursing homes.
G made a lemon pie and it turned out really beautiful, a prefect pie, almost. As she takes the pie from the oven and sets in on the kitchen counter to cool, she sees the lemon juice for the pie sitting there next to the pie. Not in it!!!
P invited her brother in-law and his wife over for corned beef and cabbage. They came, all ate and very much enjoyed the corned beef, carrots and potatoes. They left and P opens her refrigerator and there sits the cabbage. Nobody missed it!
S got her chicken coated and ready to put in the oven. Turned the oven on to preheat and sat her butt in a chair. Six o'clock, chicken is done. S opens the oven door--NO CHICKEN! What a shock! The raw coated chicken is still on the kitchen counter. Another 30 minutes till supper.
Must be something in the Arizona air that causes lapses in memory?
