This 'n' That

Love seeing the pictures of Baby Kate on their blog. She is growing so fast.
Everyone survived the 50 hour 'lights out'. Lucky it wasn't real cold nor real hot. When we look back we know it could have been worse. Like no water, all our belongings gone and etc. The northwest corner of the park has been running on a generator and will be switched back to the electric boxes on Friday. Those living next to the generator for 2 weeks will be very happy. It is quite noisy, downright loud.
Thanksgiving dinner went well and the food was soooo good. We have some very good cooks living here. After dinner we were invited to friends who live on the lake and we sat on their porch and laughed and talked until late---like 8PM. Well late for us!!
This morning we assembled our centerpieces for our new years eve party. Our theme is Dining and Dancing with the Swan Lake Stars. Our park is Swan Lake Estates, but in reality is a Trailer Park. Our center pieces are Barbie and Ken dolls in fancy clothes and dancing because we can't make them dine. Every one's daughters, grand daughters and neighbors daughters contributed Barbies and Kens. Thank you Gayle for you contribution. Gayle had not packed away her doll clothes really neat so I had to iron the dresses. Not an easy task! I needed a little bitty iron but---. It will be an great party.
Saturday is decorating the clubhouse. It is always interesting. It does look nice when we are done. Luck was on our side, a few years ago all the Christmas decorations fell off a shelf in storage and broke. We got to buy new ones. It helped a big bunch.
This afternoon I'll take Kathy to her last PT session. I hope it helps her with her balance.
