It has been a long time since I've blogged on here. This is a busy birthday week. Heather was 21 years old on Thursday. Seems not that long ago, it was her first Christmas and she was such a tiny little baby. Well, she ain't very big now! Today is Gayle's birthday. We hope she has a great day. 'Da Boys' will make it happen! Next Wednesday is Deanna's birthday and she will be 70 if my calculations are correct. How did we get old in years and not know it? We still feel young--most of the time.
We did very little Christmas shopping this year but did go out a couple days this week. Parking wasn't good but the crowds weren't real bad. The Toy for Tots and other charities aren't doing very good this year. We bought a couple trucks and dolls and took them to the fire department yesterday.
All is well in Tucson. Winter is a bit cooler than past winters have been but that is ok. I read Iowa's temps and we are ok wearing a sweater.
We do miss the kids on Christmas but have packed the week full of things to do to keep busy. We are having a Christmas decorated golf cart parade on Christmas eve. There should be 7 or 8 in the parade. Then dinner with friends and an open house later. Christmas day we do the big ham dinner in the club house.
Three couples are hosting the new years eve party, which will keep us busy after Christmas.
