Spring in Tucson

This is our rainbow cactus in front of our house. It isn't real common, probably because it is small and a slow grower.



Our resident ducks that live in/by the lake. These little ducklings won't last long. The hawks pick them off quickly.


This was taken on our walk along the river. This is on the south side which is a not well groomed like the north side.

I don't know what this plant is. It is a bush and seems to grow wild on the south side of the river. It has a very interesting looking bloom.
Not much to write about. The snowbirds are leaving, a few everyday. The CO birds hit snow when they got home. Next spring they will stay a week longer.
