Watching for the weeds to grow

We are looking for signs of spring. Weeds come first!! I thought January was chilly but weather guy says, ''No, a few degrees above normal.'' I think the key word is normal. The past several years we've had very warm winters and when the cycle is back to normal we all think it is really cold. 'They' are predicting a nice wild flower bloom because we had rain in January.
All is quiet in the park or seems quiet. December was so busy, now it seems quiet. We are having Happy Hour on the Island every Friday. We've only canceled once as it was raining. We are organizing Walking Taco's for next Friday. That is one week from today, Feb 12th. I want to clarify that so every one would know when, this Friday or next Friday. Just in case you all decided to come.
We are planning a road trip to Bisbee. It is an old mining town, revamped into a tourist attraction. It is about 100 miles away and we will make it an over night trip. All is set, but when?
