Paint and Rain

We have a paint catastrophe, well maybe not, as it is only paint. The painter, not properly supervised, painted one wall with the old can of paint used on the cabinet doors in the master bedroom. One whole wall. The hard to paint wall with the fixtures. I didn't notice till the next day when the 2nd color was up on the littlest wall. That was the color for the 1st wall---but it doesn't look like the sample from the paint store. Maybe it is the 1st wrong color reflecting on the 2nd right color on the wrong wall? No more painting yesterday, gotta rethink this.
We had our 5th 'rain in the valley, snow in the mountains' storm of 2010. Late Wednesday afternoon if I got down to table top level and looked out the window up towards the mountains, there was a lot of snow. Our other mountain view is standing on a chair, leaning to the left, by the outside table. That is, if the big motor home isn't parked behind us. The snow was gone by Thursday afternoon when we went for a bike ride. Now we are hoping for spring this next week, or today would be better.
