Need a few crackers and cheese with my whine

The dew point is 71 and the temp 83--NO Air Conditioning till Monday. It might be a long week end. I know, if this is my worst problem, I am darn lucky!!!! We are going over to pick out carpet for the bedrooms, but not order it till the estimate comes in for the a/c. May take awhile to check out all the carpet as the store is cool.

We had a big thunderstorm last night. There was wind damage in Sibley, about an hour away. There were tornado sightings closer. I think we have a lot of spotters so more tornado activity is reported. (That is good) We lost power for 20 minutes and in my mind I started planning what to do if it was a day or days with out power. Like The Red Thing did not have a full charge. Important things. Boy, is it dark in here with out lights!!!

Now to reset the clocks and what ever else has a clock. I hate setting clocks. We always leave for Tucson before CDT comes back and wait for daylight time to be in effect before we come back.

We have a few little branches down in the yard aka the pond. The size we can carry. When we walked The Walk today we saw only one large tree down by city hall. It was close to a house but fell the other way and barely hit a truck. Maybe the truck owner doesn't feel as casual about it? If he also owned the house, maybe??
